Eng. Kelvin Ndangili is a Registered Professional Engineer with the Engineers Board of Kenya (E.B.K) and is a Corporate Member of the Institution of Engineers of Kenya, MIEK.

He has over ten years’ working experience in development and management of infrastructure in the roads and transport sub-sectors in Kenya.

Eng. Ndangili holds a Master of Science Degree (MSc.) in Transport Planning & Engineering from the Edinburgh Napier University, Scotland, and a Bachelor of Science Degree (BSc.) in Civil Engineering from the University of Nairobi.

He possesses further training in:

  • Sustainable Urban Mobility Planning (SUMPs)

  • Comprehensive Urban Transport Planning

  • Public Private Partnerships (PPPs)

  • FIDIC Suites for Contract Administration and Management

  • Supervision of Performance Based Contracts (PBCs) for road maintenance

Eng. Ndangili has been extensively involved in the design, construction supervision, and multi-modal integration of Mass Rapid Transit Systems (MRTS) including:

  • Bus Rapid Transit (BRT)

  • Commuter rail

  • Non–Motorized Transport (NMT)

These efforts support efficient and effective public transport within the Nairobi Metropolitan Area.
